Pupil Leadership Groups are elected groups of pupils who take on leadership roles in different areas of school life — for example, School Council, Rights Respecting Ambassadors, Digital Leaders, Safeguarding Champions and more. These groups:
- Represent the voices and ideas of pupils in each class.
- Take responsibility for specific aspects of school improvement.
- Meet regularly to work towards goals for the year.
We believe Pupil Leadership groups help:
- Encourage pupil voice
- Develop leadership and life skills
- Promote active citizenship and democracy
- Improve the school environment
- Build confidence and community
